“La camera era sporca (specialmente il bagno). La prenotazione prevedeva un letto King size e un letto per il bambino. Il letto per il bambino non era pronto. Abbiamo chiesto a due persone diverse, a distanza di due ore, di darci le lenzuola e un cuscino o di venire a preparare il letto. Nessuno è venuto e non ci hanno dato neanche il materiale. “We loved our stay at Cumberland Lorne Resort, the apartment was very clean. We had a garden view that could see part of the sea as well. We love the kitchen, which was very well organised and had everything we needed. We played tennis and basketball as well as squash and table tennis in the games room. The location was in the heart of Lorne, plenty of shops and restaurants downstairs and right in front of the foreshore. Thank you for the warm hospitality and we hope to be back someday ... ”

“We were awakened in the middle of the night by a very caustic odor and left prior to 5am as one of us was almost unable to breathe. A petrol station attendant told us the Geelong area has strong odors from the Gas Plant when the wind blows a certain way. Recovery time from this gas attach was about three hours of burning eyes and throat. Not hotels fault but would never stay there again.”

“On street parking was plentiful and the check in process was smooth and very efficient. Our only concern was the size of the single beds in one room were tiny. I have never seen beds so skinny. These I assume were split from supposedly QS and a King bed, but that was highly improbable. Not enough of an issue to stop me staying there again. Overall a wonderful stay at this establishment.”
